     Autumn lies ahead. It is considered to be the dreariest season of the year. However, it could be the other way round. Let`s heat a bath house or order one of the seven on offer in Jonava and gather with families, friends for a warm cosy evening to relax, clean our bodies and souls. A homely evening in front of a fireplace or by candlelight will bring everyone together and help to recall summer impressions.

     After sharing exciting memories those who have restless souls pack their backpacks and hit the road again. There is neither bad weather nor bad days. Let`s visit Paberžė, Rukla and Žeimiai mounds near the former manor houses of Barbolaukis, Žeimiai,Vainiai, where we will be able to witness the dance of colourful falling leaves, listen to their rustle and the screams of leaving birds.We will visit the oldest Renaissance style church in Lithuania - Skaruliai St. Ann`s Church, will certainly go to Žeimiai to see the Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin, which is a perfect  example of Gothic architecture, and look around the Church of St. Jacob the Apostle in Jonava, where the remains of Bishop Joseph Casimir Kossakowski, the founder and the builder of the church in Jonava, are treated with respect.

     And there is also an adventure park “ Lokės pėda“ (“A Bear`s Paw“), the only of its kind in Lithuania!
      We will also visit other noteworthy cultural-cognitive tourism objects which are new on our itineraries and will undoubtedly attract you.

    Tourist Information Centre provides information about the sights of the town, museums, cultural events, entertainment facilities. Our worker will help you to choose the best accommodation and  give advice on the best places to shop and dine, inform you about the events taking place in the town and about the places to spend your free time. You can also find out about the tours of the town and the district free of charge. Information on where to obtain the latest editions and souvenirs will also be provided.

    If you book an excursion, we will provide a guided tour service. Those who would like to get acquainted with Jonava on their own, at our centre can obtain a map with the places of interest marked on it.

   Tourist groups and individual  visitors can book excursions in advance by calling TIC and arranging a time for the excursion at their own convenience.

   TIC events: in order to celebrate World Tourism Day and International Day for Monuments and Sites (World Heritage Day), we have been organising excursions for residents and  guests from other Lithuanian towns since 2005.

We take part in the festivals of the town and the county by presenting tourism resources of the district.

   Since 2008 users have had access to the  site www.jonturizmas.lt, where every customer can find profound information on the leisure venues in our town .
